Night Stage Glow: Party Ace Bar Lighting Collaboration

In Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town’s night economy, Party Ace Bar’s lighting stands out as a key attraction—it serves as a “visual language” integrating music, space, and emotions. This experience stems from in-depth cooperation between Color Imagination and Party Ace, focusing on technical implementation, scenario adaptation, and experience enhancement. The precise deployment of Color Imagination’s full-range professional lighting fixtures forms the “hardware foundation” of this collaboration.

I. Cooperation Origin: From “Lighting Pain Points” to “Demand Resonance”

As a newly opened high-end night entertainment venue in Zhujiang New Town, Party Ace Bar features an ingenious spatial design: a central T-stage connecting multi-layered guest seating areas, and a futuristic light and shadow corridor.

During the preparation stage, based on common industry pain points and its own positioning, the team clarified the core needs of the lighting system: to avoid the limitations of traditional bar lighting while matching the diversified experience positioning of the newly built space—

  • Need to adapt to multiple music genres such as electronic, hip-hop, and retro to avoid experience solidification caused by single style;
  • Need to simplify the control process to avoid consuming a lot of manpower and time on frequent debugging in later operations;
  • Need to achieve full-space light and shadow coverage to avoid visual “fault” problems caused by multi-layered structures.

During research, the Color Imagination team acutely identified these needs and proposed the concept: “Lighting should extend space, not just decorate it“. The two parties launched cooperation with a clear goal: using professional stage lighting technology to let every guest feel “light follows music, and atmosphere comes from light”.

II. Technical Implementation: Color Imagination Lighting Matrix Builds Visual Experience

1. Hardware Selection: “Tailor-Made” for Space

To match Party Ace’s spatial structure and experience needs, Color Imagination team designed a multi-dimensional lighting coordination system, where each fixture plays a specific “visual role”:

  • 310W Moving Head Beam Lights (10 units): Installed above the central T-stage. With sharp beams and fast dynamic response, they create a “penetrating light matrix” for electronic music parties. On drumbeats, beams switch angles rapidly, making dancers feel immersed in a “light rhythm maze”.
  • 19*40W Moving Head Big Bee-Eye Lights (56 units): Core atmosphere fixtures, evenly placed on guest area ceilings and walls. 19 40W RGBW 4-in-1 beads support single-point control and 3.5°-50° zoom. They render large-area colors for overall ambiance and project precise spots. For retro disco, they quickly create warm yellow/orange tones; for electronic music, lens rotation produces “kaleidoscope effects” that echo T-stage beams.
  • 10*40W Long-Bar Beam Lights (40 units): Hidden at the edge of the spatial layered structure. Their linear light beams can realize “three-dimensional layered outline”. During cyberpunk-themed parties, they can build a “light barrier” between the guest seating area and the T-stage, enhancing the spatial depth of layering.
  • Full-Color Strobe Lights (22 units): Fixedly deployed in the area behind the T-stage and the dome. When the music reaches the climax, they can achieve high-frequency color strobing at 1-25Hz, combined with 16-bit linear dimming precision, instantly pushing the on-site mood to the peak, allowing guests to feel the “heavy hammer texture” of music through visual impact.
  • Crazybar 86 (7 units): Installed on the truss around the main stage. Its multi-segment LED light strip can realize “dynamic line weaving”. During the main stage performance, the light can change into flowing light bands with the music rhythm, forming multi-level visual superposition with the T-stage light beams and strobe lights, enhancing the sense of immersion in the core area of the stage.
  • Audience Lights (48 units): Evenly distributed above the guest seating area. With “soft fill light + audience interaction” as the design core, they adopt low-glare optical design, which can not only accurately illuminate the audience area during performances to achieve seamless visual interaction between the stage and the audience but also avoid discomfort caused by direct strong light.

2. Scheme Preset: Making Lighting Switching More Efficient

Based on this hardware matrix, Color Imagination team developed an exclusive lighting preset library tailored to the bar’s common party scenarios:

  • The team debugged the parameters of “color matching, brightness level, and movement trajectory” of the lighting fixtures in advance for different music genres such as electronic, hip-hop, and retro. For example, the “point-shooting movement” mode of the 310W moving head beam lights is preset for hip-hop parties, and the “warm light slow gradient” effect of the bee-eye lights is preset for jazz parties, creating a delicate atmosphere through precise brightness adjustment of 19 lamp beads.
  • The scheme library contains more than ten sets of “theme lighting schemes” (such as “Retro Disco” and “Cyber Maze”). Each scheme is marked with the lighting coordination logic. The staff only needs to call the preset parameters according to the scenario to achieve professional-level lighting effects—what used to take 2-3 hours of debugging can now be completed in 10 minutes, greatly improving operational efficiency.

III. Cooperation Outcomes: From Technical Deployment to Experience Symbiosis

1. Guests’ True Feelings: “Lighting Has Emotions”

Regular guests notice distinct lighting changes: For electronic parties, 310W beam lights on the T-stage act as “living lines” intertwining with bee-eye light spots to create a futuristic vibe; for retro parties, bee-eye lights cast warm yellow tones across walls, paired with audience lights’ soft glow, filling the space with nostalgic warmth. Guests comment: “Here, lighting, like music, conveys emotions.”

2. Improvement of Bar Operation Efficiency

This system not only optimizes the experience but also effectively solves operational pain points: the labor cost of lighting debugging is reduced by 60%, and it supports quick adaptation to “impromptu theme activities”—for example, when planning a “movie soundtrack party” temporarily, you only need to call the preset scheme, and the color gradient of the bee-eye lights and the line outline of the long-bar beam lights can immediately create a movie scene sense, ensuring the coherence of the experience.

IV. Partner Evaluation

The lighting engineer of Party Ace commented: “The Braun team is very ‘professional’—they are not here to sell equipment, but to solve problems. From the precise layout of 10 beam lights to the color coordination of 56 bee-eye lights, each piece of equipment hits our demand points. Especially the single-point control function of the bee-eye lights allows us to easily create the dynamic effect of ‘swarms of bees flying’. Now lighting is no longer an ‘accessory’, but a partner that tells stories together with music and space.”

Postscript: This cooperation avoids excessive marketing, focusing instead on genuine integration of technology and scenarios. Every Color Imagination fixture—from 310W beam lights to bee-eye lights—excels in its role. High-quality stage lighting needs no “deliberate promotion”; it naturally becomes part of the venue through beam movements and color gradients, making guests willing to engage with this “visual resonance”.
